Todays River North Real Estate post topic are the Domain Loft Condos located at 900 N Kingsbury at the intersection of Larrabee and Kingsbury in the Chicago River North Neighborhood, also known as the Domain Building. The Domain Condos were not always condos. The Domain Building was formerly the location for the Montgomery Wards Catalogue. These River North Condos were converted back in 2002.
The Domain Condos have views overlooking the city skyline, the Chicago River or a 15,000 sq ft courtyard that is beautifully landscaped. The ammenities at the Domain Building are very nice. Whether I am talking about the very respectable Work out Room, to the Roof Top Running Track (yep you heard me right), to the impressive lobby or the boat slips, everything is impressive looking and well maintained!
While not technically a building ammenity, right around the corner from the domain building there are several restaurants, bars and the David Burton Gym! Two of my favorite places: Japonaise and the Motel Bar can be found here! You can also rent Kayaks if you desire to paddle along the Chicago River.

The Domain Condos are all lofts, so if you are not a fan of lofts (like I am) then these River North Condos wouldnt work for you. If you are a fan of the loft style condos, the Domain building and all of its ammenities is a building you should definitely check out! Its a healthy building and has not been oversaturated with short sales and foreclosures. Im not a fan of most of the 1bedroom layouts, they are a bit on the small side. My favorite layout is the "30" layout. 2bed/2.1bath+den
