Located in the Chicago River North neighborhood,adjacent to Erie Park and several River North Condos, The Erie Street Cafe is one the oldest and well established Steak restaurants in River North Chicago.. Opened in 1994 and Located along the North Branch of the Chicago River on Erie, Erie Cafe offers prime aged steaks, chops and house specialties in a classic steak house environment. Since Erie street is right around the corner from me, I have eaten here a few times. Love the Calamari!
The Environment is definetely old school steak house which I love, and the food is fairly good. Is Erie one of the top steakhouses in Chicago: No But they are definetely an above average steakhouse in Chicago and worth checking out if you are in the River north area
